Novae's experienced marine team underwrites liability, hull and war risks. Liability covers are designed for a range of marine operators and may incorporate hull covers.

The account includes:

Marine Liability

• Tailor-made liability insurance is available for port authorities, terminal operators, stevedores, warehouse keepers, marine contractors, ship operators, agents and vessel charterers. Policies can incorporate both marine and non-marine liability.

Cover can include:

• Public liability, including all risks cover for third party goods in a client's care, custody and control whether in storage or transit
  
• Marine liability, including removal of wreck, foul berthing and consequential loss
  
• Employers’ liability
  
• Marine professional indemnity
  
• Protection and indemnity

Marine Hull

• Up to 100 per cent lines on small UK tonnage, port equipment and marine construction all risks, often written as part of a commercial combined policy
  
• Subscription lines on other marine risks such as general all risks, increased value, tows and building risks
  

Marine War

• Novae participates in a number of brokers’ war covers but can also lead or underwrite subscription lines on facultative business
